Step by step, the launch of Toray Advanced Materials Korea’s PET decorative foils for thermoplastic surface materials has changed the traditional consuming habits of industrials. Replacing PVC and PP, PET decorative foils are now established as one of the main materials for furniture surfaces.
To go further in this approach, Toray Advanced Materials Korea impulses an even bigger change with the integration of recycled polyester raw materials into PET decorative foils.
The attempts of other market players to impose this change have been considered as too expensive and at poor quality by the market. However, TAK’s advanced technology and differentiated quality management permits to manufacture Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) PET decorative foils at the exact same quality level as PET products made of virgin raw materials.
