Sustainability has always been one of Toray’s main focus. Today, Toray Films Europe is the first on the market to launch a range of Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) Lumirror® PET Films.
PCR PET film is made with post-consumer wastes from bottles. Then, as it is a mono-material, it will be recyclable and can be combined with recycled bottles wastes that can then be reused to do new PCR PET films. Finally, this can be repeated indefinitely. Toray is then committed to a circular economy.
Toray’s Lumirror® range has then a new PCR PET film available in white, Lumirror® 10.56R, and transparent, Lumirror® 60.56R, designed for different applications such as pre-cut lids or labels.
Our PCR PET films comply with European applicable requirements for food contact applications.
