Toray Film Europe is proud to support the Vita Nova initiative, a new consortium of industry players promoting the use of mono-PET flexible packaging in the circular economy.
BOPET Films Europe (association representing BOPET film producers in the European market) and Searious Business (social enterprise accelerating the circular economy in plastic use) are launching the VITA NOVA initiative. Currently, PET films are the only commercially available option for the use of food contact approved recycled content and therefore are a key element of delivering on the sustainability goals of the industry.
Through its BOPET ranges (Lumirror® and Claryl®), Toray Films Europe is committed to respond to growing pressures from both the public and governments to improve the recyclability of flexible packaging.
